Kavita Srivastava, CPA, CA, CBV, CPA (Illinois) joined Duff & Phelps in 2010. She is a director in the Toronto office and part of the Disputes and Investigations practice. Kavita has over 10 years of experience in business and securities valuation, litigation support services, and financial advisory services.

Kavita has prepared and critiqued numerous expert reports pursuant to a variety of matters involving business securities valuation and financial litigation support matters, including shareholder and partner disputes, commercial litigation, family law, estate planning and corporate reorganizations.

Kavita’s experience in business valuation includes privately held business securities, intangible assets valuations for both private and public companies across a broad array of industries, purchase price allocations, and goodwill impairment.

Kavita is a graduate of Simon Fraser University. She is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator and a Certified Public Accountant.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Kavita worked within the valuation advisory services group of a multinational accounting firm.

Kavita is currently the secretary of a not-for-profit childcare center located in Toronto.
