Mike is a director in the Manchester office and part of the Global Restructuring Advisory practice. He has more than 10 years of experience in corporate restructuring and advisory.

Specializing in corporate restructuring advisory, Mike guides a variety of stakeholders through the execution of solvent and formal restructuring alternatives.

Mike has worked on a number of high-profile assignments in the retail sector including MFI, Ethel Austin, Blooming Marvellous and, more recently, BHS. He has also advised several purchasers of retail businesses post transaction. Mike's other sector experience includes automotive, construction, and green energy. 

During his career, Mike has been involved in a number of Independent Business and Viability reviews and other solvent assignments involving cash flow management, tax arrears solutions and financial forecasting.

Mike completed a 19-month secondment as a relationship manager across the Invoice Finance, Business Restructuring and Recoveries teams of a national clearing bank from 2011 to 2013.

Mike is a Chartered Certified Accountant and JIEB qualified.
