Nick has over 11 years of industry and corporate finance experience, including over six years of M&A transaction experience. He has advised on both U.S. and international transactions.
Nick has advised both strategic and private equity firms, as well as potential debtors, on transactions with an aggregate value of more than $2 billion. He has conducted pre-investment or pre-divestiture financial and accounting due diligence, and post-investment implementation strategies and portfolio company reviews. Nick advises on all aspects of due diligence of varying sizes, including performing quality of earnings and net assets and working capital, preparing pro-forma financial statements, carve-out financial statements, performing bridging analysis to identify which products/customers/service lines are driving the business and its value, evaluating the quality of the financial reporting infrastructure and environment and recommending best practices.
Nick specializes in industrials, consumer products and business services transactions.
Prior to joining Kroll, Nick spent five years with Deloitte & Touche LLP, providing accounting, audit and assurance services to several Fortune 500 companies and middle-market private companies, within the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail, business services, distribution and consumer product industries.
Nick received his Bachelors of Science and Masters in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois, a FINRA registered representative and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
