Patrick Crumplin is a director in the London office of Duff & Phelps and is part of the Disputes and Investigations practice. He has specialized in forensic accounting, litigation support and investigations since 1998. Patrick has worked on and led projects across a range of different industries in the UK, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, the U.S., Switzerland, Italy and Ireland.

Patrick joined Duff & Phelps with the acquisition of Kinetic Partners in January 2015, where he worked since 2011. Prior to this, he was a Director in the London office of FTI Consulting and then practiced as an independent consultant for two years. Patrick qualified as an accountant in 2002 while working within the forensic department of a Big Four firm in London.

At Kinetic Partners, Patrick focussed primarily on clients in the financial services sector (including investment banks, retail banks, investment managers, insurers and regulators), developing a deep knowledge of the industry. Whilst maintaining that expert knowledge, Patrick now supports clients across all industry sectors. A particular feature of Patrick’s work throughout his career has been data analytics, including analysis of large volume transactional data extracted from accounting and other business systems.

Patrick earned an MSc in investigative Psychology from Liverpool University. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA, qualified 2002).
