Rod Koborsi is a director in the Palo Alto office of Duff & Phelps. He is a member of the Transfer Pricing practice, specializing in a variety of transfer pricing, economic and valuation issues. Rod has extensive experience in valuing intercompany transactions, such as cost sharing transactions, intellectual property migrations and corporate services allocations. Rod also guides tax teams through the changing global transfer pricing compliance landscape, which includes building a compliance roadmap and preparing documentation reports based on the clients’ specific needs and requirements.
 
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps in 2012, Rod was a transfer pricing economist at Ceteris. He has worked closely with global companies, from early-stage start-ups to Fortune 500 firms, and has industry experience in technology/software, consumer products, telecommunications, automotive, oil & gas and mining.

Rod has written and contributed to a number of thought leadership publications related to transfer pricing topics, including co-authoring the United States chapter of the Wolters Kluwer Guide to International Transfer Pricing. He has also presented at various conferences and workshops in North America sponsored by professional associations, educational organizations and trade publications, such as Bloomberg BNA, Tax Executives Institute (TEI) and the American Petroleum Institute (API) Federal Tax Forum.
 
Rod holds an MA in International Affairs and a BA in Finance from Georgetown University.
