Sarah Bell is a managing director in the Manchester office and part of the Global Restructuring Advisory practice. She has more than 25 years experience in corporate recovery and restructuring. 

She has managed a large number of formal insolvency appointments for the major UK clearing banks, and has particular expertise in advising multi-national companies on cross-border issues related to restructuring in North America, Europe and Asia.  She has acted as a court-appointed receiver in connection with the repatriation of assets in distressed situations. In addition, Sarah has considerable experience in solvent restructuring, including the tax efficient demerger of complex business structures, and the implementation of solvent schemes of arrangement in relation to companies in run-off. 

Sarah’s sector expertise includes construction/contracting, professional practices and manufacturing. 

Sarah was previously a partner in one of the UK's largest corporate recovery practices. 

Sarah is a Fellow of R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and is a licensed UK Insolvency Practitioner.
