Veena Sankar

Veena Sankar is a director in the London office and a member of the Valuation Advisory Services practice.

She has advised clients across various asset classes and industries, providing valuation advisory services to support investment decisions and for tax, restructuring, financial reporting, disputes and Brexit-planning purposes. 

She has experience working with global financial institutions, hedge funds, PE funds, corporates and niche financial services businesses, assisting in the valuation of their businesses, investments, intangible assets, debt portfolios and derivatives. 

Before joining Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) in 2018, Veena was part of the Valuations team within the wider Transaction Services business unit of PwC London for four years, specializing in the financial services sector. Before PwC, Veena was a regulator working with the Securities Commission Malaysia, where she was responsible for identifying breaches of securities laws and non-compliance with financial reporting standards within top-tier, public-listed companies. She also has experience in providing statutory audit services.

Veena holds a B.Com. degree from the University of Mumbai and a Master of Finance from the University of Cambridge. She additionally holds an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.
