Wade Owen joined Duff & Phelps in 2016 as a director who provides global Transfer Pricing services to organizations ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-up businesses. He has particular expertise in pharma/ biotech, technology, and financial services clients. Drawing on his experience in his prior roles as a Big 4 professional and in-house practitioner, Wade helps clients navigate the challenging transfer pricing environment from periodic compliance and documentation through complex transfer pricing issues.
Wade has experience with audit and controversy management, cost sharing and intangible property migration, tax planning related to global transfer pricing policy transformation, ASC 740-10/FIN 48, and audit defense and dispute resolution. He has participated in advance pricing agreement and competent authority requests for seven countries and prepared transfer pricing planning analyses and documentation in 60 countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Wade worked for EY as a key team member on some of the firm’s largest accounts providing practical, highly-integrated consulting and advisement on a wide range of issues including controversy management, global policy design and implementation, and intercompany pricing and profitability monitoring. Wade has served clients in a range of industries including consumer products, engineering services, industrial manufacturing, and pharma/biotech.
Wade has an MBA with a focus on Economics and Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
