Alexander is a managing director in the Amsterdam office, and started to work with Duff & Phelps in January 2007.
 
Prior to Duff & Phelps, Alexander worked within the Valuation & Strategy department of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Amsterdam. He has been involved in a broad range of valuation engagements covering a wide variety of industries including: financial services, technology, information, communication and entertainment (TICE), consumer products, industrial products, and energy.
 
Alexander’s experience includes purchase price allocations and asset valuations for financial reporting purposes under IFRS and US GAAP; (intangible) asset and goodwill impairments; equity and asset valuations for tax purposes; valuations for regulatory purposes; fairness opinions; shareholder value management; and general valuation consulting.
 
Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2002, Alexander studied at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
 
Education and Certifications:

  • Masters in Business Administration from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands (2002)
  • CFA charter holder, CFA Institute, 2006.
