Prior to joining Kroll, Alexander served as partner at BFI, an independent business valuation firm based in Amsterdam that specialized in complex business valuations, financial investigations and disputes. He focused on expanding the company’s footprint alongside its founding partners. In 2023, the full BFI team joined Kroll, strengthening Kroll’s International Valuation Advisory Services practice, and expanding the valuation advisory solutions available to clients in EMEA.

Previously, Alexander was a managing director at Kroll and was at PwC prior to that.

Some of Alexander’s career highlights include:

• Fairness opinion for Eneco, the largest energy provider in the Netherlands.
• Valuation adviser to Steinhoff International Holdings (SIHNV), securing court sanction of its WHOA Restructuring Plan in the Netherlands.
• Preferred valuation advisor for Lineage Europe.
• Purchase price allocation support for the leading infrastructure and regulated companies in the Netherlands.

Alexander is a regular speaker and guest-lecturer at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He is also a CFA charter holder.
